2022: A year of agility, resilience, and collaboration

For us at Siemens Smart Infrastructure US, 2022 was a special year. We got to show the world - and ourselves - what we are truly capable of.

First of all, congratulations to the entire Smart Infrastructure US team. Together, we broke all kinds of financial records in FY2022. And what’s most impressive is that we did it despite many headwinds and challenges, which allowed us to realize our very own resiliency and agility.

Whether it was disruptions due to COVID-19, supply chain issues, the Great Resignation, or record inflation, we adapted. I am thankful to all the team members who leaned in and pushed relentlessly forward to face these headwinds with creativity and agility, continued customer focus and a spirit of collaboration. It’s because of this that we came out stronger.

As for our countless new and existing customers?like Pratt & Whitney, Morgan State University, Ford, the Javits Center, and Signature Healthcare’s Brockton Hospital to name just a few, we remained laser-focused on helping them reach their efficiency, sustainability, and resiliency goals. Utilizing holistic solutions, these organizations are now better prepared for whatever the future brings, be it severe weather events, decarbonization requirements, or electrification challenges.

And we continue to invest in our technology to accelerate our customers’ sustainability and digital journeys. In March, together with our colleagues from Siemens Financial Services, we launched a $100 million capital program to help small and medium-sized businesses jumpstart their paths to decarbonization. Our successful rollout of BuildingX and Siemens Xcelerator will make our customers’ digital transformation easier and faster at any scale.
