What a year it’s been! From new event launches to our top 100 recognitions, 2022 has been an incredible year for Technology Magazine. So, let’s start at the beginning and take a look at some of our highlights…?

?? January - Top 100 Technology Companies

In January we launched our Top 100 Companies list, in association with Nabler (now Brainlabs) . Technology is now fundamental across every vertical as the cornerstone of all the world’s leading companies, so this list is aimed at recognising and celebrating the top 100 technology companies making a difference in 2022.

To celebrate International Women’s Day (8th March) we launched our Top 100 Women in Technology list, in association with March8 , to celebrate and recognise the women in our industry doing great things and inspiring the next generation of girls.

?? April - Technology Magazine (unofficially) turns 2?

Although we’ve been going for a lot longer, since 2017 to be precise, Technology Magazine got a fresh new look 2 years ago this April with our re-brand.

?? June - Launch of TECH LIVE LONDON

In June, we launched our inaugural TECH LIVE LONDON event. The 2-day event saw industry professionals come together in London and virtually to talk about the future of our industry.?

Attendees enjoyed 4 stages, a stellar speaker line-up, networking, some high-tech including our Red Bull f1 simulator, retro arcade games and more!?

?? September - Our front cover of the year hits our digital shelf

This year we’ve had some amazing front covers hit our digital shelf, but one stood out in particular…

In September, we released our most popular front cover this year, which saw Oracle Red Bull's partnership take centre stage.?

A data-rich industry, Formula 1 pushes the latest technological boundaries as well as speed. 甲骨文 Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology recently had one of its most successful seasons in recent years, achieving 23 podium finishes and Max Verstappen winning the driver’s championship in 2021.

During last season, the team took advantage of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which helped them to increase the number of simulations they ran by 1,000x to improve the accuracy of their predictions and sharpen their decision-making.

With fans and customers key to racing organisations, we took a look at how Oracle Red Bull Racing is taking the next step to create a unique engaging fan experience with contributions from Amr Elrawi and Oliver Hughes from Oracle.?

???? October - Technology Magazine takes Dubai & Top 100 Leaders

In October, our parent company BizClik jetted off to the warmer climates of Dubai to open our brand-new office. This new office allowed us to expand our recruitment and as a result, Technology Magazine gained 2 new members.??? Go say hi to Luay Husseini and Asad Hussain D. to give them a warm welcome!

To recognise the amazing leaders we have in our industry, we also launched our Top 100 Leaders in Technology list in October. The aim of this list is to celebrate the professionals, influencers and disruptive innovators changing the world of technology for the better day in, day out!?

November saw the launch of our brand new LinkedIn Newsletter (which you already know as you’re reading it right now!). Our newsletter is a bi-weekly deep dive into the industry and is designed to bring topics such as AI, cloud, data and more to the forefront.
