2022 within a list!

It's become a tradition that I write a blog post rounding up my past year - so here's my 2022 within a list...

• In February, my business celebrated it's 10th birthday!
• I released my 6th book - Your Product, Your Business (full of hints, tips and ideas to build a business around your products/services) - in June!

• Following the first Books & Networking at the end of last year, I've organised a further 5 meetings in Aberdeen this year (including the workshop).
• A number of people mentioned wanting to talk to me and get my help with their book ideas, so I organised a one-off book writing workshop in September.

• I've also set up a page on the Books & Networking website offering a range of help, support and resources for anyone interested in writing/self publishing their own book.
• I've continued to write blog posts/articles covering a range of topics - including creating products, small businesses, reading business books, and writing/self publishing.
• While I mainly use PowerPoint to create my graphics, I've also experimented more with Canva.
• Both my Facebook groups continue to grow and be active - with my Member Manager Plus group (for clubs/charities) reaching 300 members.
• For the first half of the year, I continued to host Tuesday's #1pmChat Twitter hour (a fun hour for anyone looking for a break from work and non-work discussions).
• While there have been no major new releases for my software products, I have been focusing on the marketing side of things.
• Anyone who follows me on social media will also be aware that I've still never used Zoom!
• Personally, I've continued with my baking, walks along the beach, and also walked along the Old Deeside Line a few times.

My plans for 2023 include more Books & Networking meetings (including the option to hire me to bring Books & Networking to your business), a potential new product idea, and three potential new book ideas.
