The round up of last weeks additive manufacturing news includes successful launch of the metal additive manufacturing symposium in India; inauguration of VIT–SEDAXIS Centre of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing, research on 3D printed satellites by MIT, Liebherr to supply first complex 3D printed component for Airbus’ A350 fleet and more.
The regions first Metal Additive Manufacturing symposium organised by AM Chronicle saw active participation from 45+ speakers and 230+ delegates across the metal additive manufacturing ecosystem including users, government establishments, academia and industry stakeholders. The event was inaugurated by Shri APVS Prasad, Chief Executive, CEMILAC and Air Vice Marshal PS Sarin VSM, ACAS(MP), Indian Air Force, reinforcing the government push for Additive Manufacturing in India.
