2022 Rewind: Gold Athletics Year-End Recap

Ah, twenty twenty two – what a year it was! With sports back in full swing, the last twelve months was a wild ride of modern milestones for the books, impressive fundraising accomplishments, and exciting new relationships in the Gold Athletics community. Not only did our teams show resilience in the face of adversity, but Gold Athletics coaches & athletes across the country delivered inspiring performances that exceeded expectations & fundraising goals at every turn. Whether you were a fan who put their heart into cheering on the home team or a coach dedicated to fostering excellence within each athlete, there was plenty for everyone to enjoy in 2022. Let’s take some time now to revisit highlights from an amazing year at Gold Athletics by rewinding through the action that made it such an incredible experience for us all! Fundraising Accomplishments by the Numbers:

• Gold athletics worked with more than 200 new athletics programs in the year 2022, compared to 2023.
• Our most popular fundraising product in 2022 was Gold Cards. The second most popular was… Gourmet Popcorn!
• Profits to write home about!! More than $3.75million worth of Gold Cards were sold in 2022! And $724,000 worth of Cookie Dough was sold. The same was sold in gourmet popcorn!
• It's safe to say teams and their supporters are enjoying the convenience and ease of ship-to-home fundraisers. In total, more than 125,000 Ship to Home Units were shipped straight to supporters doors this year.

Making Modern Milestones:

In 2022, we brought new tech to the team, and officially launched the GA App and Gold Deals+ app for users and supporters!

• 40,000 users downloaded the GA App, and 25,000 users downloaded the Gold Deals+ app.
• Consistent updates were made to the two new Apps. More than 30+ new features were put in place.. Broken down into months, that’s a few major improvements & updates every single month!
• Gold Athletics made their debut on TikTok! @goldathletics
• Our Sales Reps hit the road with followers for our newly launched Roadside Chat Series on all social media platforms.

New Relationships & Connections:

We built more new relationships with Sponsors, Coaches & Vendors this year than any other year!

• In 2021 we teamed up with 166 new programs. In 2022, we welcomed 471 new groups!
• This year we added Candles, Coffee, and Nuts to our catalog offerings. Three more companies are being added to our catalog of products in 2023! Stay tuned to hear more about them.
• We featured ten incredible Coaches for our new "Feature Friday Series", which gave them a chance to share what matters most to them and their teams.
• The GA Team also grew, adding new members to Gold Athletics’ Operations, Marketing & Sales! (Shout out Dane Wozny, Kelly Cunningham, Charlotte Simmons, Evan Viveiros, Rob Muniak, Matt Curtis, and Bob White)

All in all, it was quite a year for Gold Athletics! We are so grateful to our supporters, coaches, and athletes who made 2022 such a memorable one. From the very first fundraiser kick-off and phone blitz of the year to the last, we could not have done it without your dedication and support.
