2022 Non-Executive Directors Awards Nominees announced.

The leadership of the?League of East African Directors (LEAD) and its partners including?EY?felt compelled to create an opportunity through which the role and contributions of the Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) is appropriately appreciated.

Boards and Non-Executive Directors, in particular, play a crucial role in an organization’s strategy development, execution and indeed the overall success and sustainability.

?It is with this in mind that the?Non-Executive Director (NED) awards?were created.

This is in line with LEAD’s mission of ‘equipping Boards for the advancement of East African businesses.

The inaugural events were successfully held last year in partnership with?EY,?MTN Uganda,?Umeme Ltd,?Uganda National Oil?Company,?Centenary Bank Uganda Ltd,?Uganda Breweries Ltd,?Stanbic Bank Uganda,?Uganda Clays?Ltd,?CEO Summit?among?others.

?This year’s awards comprise of a series of activities that will culminate in an award ceremony scheduled for 29 November 2022.
