2022 National General Election-WSP

National General Election is conducted every five (5) years and it is a Democratic Process where Citizens who are above eighteen (18) years old exercise their Rights to Nominate for a Political Office and voters exercise their rights to vote for them. Most of the time Candidates nominate and contest with one aim to convince people to vote for them in terms of delivering basic services to improve livelihoods. Our people are most of the time being provided option to choose and they either choose based on their family ties, peer circles, social status in communities, candidates who are wealthy and rich, who are being able to meet the needs and wants of their people.
My point of discussion is about the same approach to be more vocal to keep our leaders accountable to us who gave them the mandate to represent us in Parliament through this democratic Process. When our leaders made mistakes or allegations are being leveled against them, it is us who rallied together on the street and demand our leaders explanation or face the justice system and must be answerable to us. We must protest and fight for what we think is right for us and our children.
