Program description: This program is prepared for the general information and education of accountants, attorneys, and other financial services advisors to enhance their professional knowledge in federal tax related matters.?It is not intended for the general public.?See program agenda above for specific topics and presenters.
Learning objectives: Participants who complete this course will be able to recognize the responsibilities of a fiduciary; address regulations imposed by the SECURE Act; maximize IRAs to benefit both a second spouse and children from a prior marriage; anticipate how pending legislative changes in tax law may affect estate tax exemptions; understand how to use split-dollar life insurance as a planning tool; “stretch” an inherited IRA by using tax-exempt CRTs; and use life insurance to accomplish clients’ estate planning objectives.?
