Triple Ring's Jeffrey Perkins is presenting at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) proposers day for the POSEIDON program on September 4, 2024. Jeff Perkins will travel to Baltimore, MD to attend and present at the ARPA-H POSEIDON proposers day. Jeff will present a Lightning Talk describing Triple Ring's proposed solution to the POSEIDON challenge. Jeff will be on hand throughout the day to discuss this important program with the ARPA-H team and other proposers. Triple Ring, a world class #Medtech and #LifeScience #CDMO, is seeking teaming opportunities to provide complete solutions to ARPA-H and the US Government. POSEIDON, or The Platform Optimizing SynBio for Early Intervention and Detection in ONcology, aims to fundamentally change the field of cancer screening by developing first-in-class, over-the-counter, Multi-Cancer Early Detection tests that screen for 30+ cancers at Stage 1. POSEIDON intends to develop non-invasive synthetic sensors and reporters to reliably detect cancer from breath or urine samples at home. The self-administered kit, based on human-centered design, would allow any adult American to screen for cancers before symptoms arise. The kit would also integrate results securely with electronic health records and ensure individuals connect with a health care professional via a telemedicine call to review results.?

Walt Cecka and Triple Ring were proud to participate in the Military Health System Research Symposium (#MHSRS2024) annual conference this week in Kissimmee, Florida. Walt and our partners, Ramsey Taweel, Elizabeth Stoops, and Bach Thang Dao, at Military & Health Research Foundation?spent the week discussing strategies for bringing innovative healthcare products and emergency technologies to our armed services personnel. The MHSRS is the Department of Defense’s foremost scientific meeting. It provides a venue for presenting new scientific knowledge resulting from military-unique research and development. The MHSRS is the premier military or civilian meeting that focuses specifically on the unique medical needs of the Warfighter. It’s a great event to showcase important work.?Thanks to the organizers and all attendees.

We're excited to announce a that Dr. Tobias Funk will be giving a Special Presentation at the Sterilization Summit USA on October 9, 2024. https://lnkd.in/garv4CUR Tobias's presentation is titled Virtual Dose Mapping As A Tool To Minimize Dose Uniformity Ratios And Maximize Throughput. He'll describe a powerful simulation tool that enables DFS (Design for Sterilization), a process that enables medical device developers to optimize sterilization strategies much earlier in the design process. DFS speeds time to market and significantly reduces costs through replacing current laborious and empirical practices. Tobias and colleagues will be on site at the conference to meet up and discuss how the tool could be applied to your products.

We had a great day hosting the amazing #IMB 2024 MBA cohort during their visit to Silicon Valley. Thanks to Jim Pulcrano and Camille Inabnit for coordinating the event. Brian Wilfley and Walt Cecka lead discussions about the Medical Device and Life Science innovation process from IP generation to technology design, development, and productization, with many concrete examples from 20 years of product commercialization at Triple Ring. We also dove deep into the unique challenges of creating products that must meet the high standards of FDA, truly solve unmet needs in clinical and R&D markets, and often require reimbursement to succeed. Silicon Valley is home to companies and professionals who have the passion, tenacity, and know how required to bring innovative healthcare products to market. Triple Ring was honored to host such an impressive group of students from around the globe and we hope they will take home a bit of the Silicon Valley magic.

Wrapping up at #BIO2024. Wasim Munawar and Ryan McGuinness spent the week in San Diego meeting with Biotech, Life Sciences and Medical Device innovators to discuss their product development plans and progress. We had great conversations with Otsuka Medical Devices Co., Ltd., Amgen, Genentech,WearableDose, CEIDOS, Know Labs, Inc., and VitalTrace to name a few. We also enjoyed evening receptions hosted by WomenInBio WIB, General Inception, BioTools Innovator, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Looking forward to attending again next year!
