The LPHCA are delighted to invite you along to our 2021 Road Show, sponsored by Cab9, Cab Treasure and Cordic.
The Road Show features a wide range of Exhibitors, made up of many major suppliers to our industry who showcase and demonstrate their products inside this wonderful venue, including several ‘top of the range’ vehicles inside the hotel itself.??These leading product suppliers have a wealth of experience and provide a great deal of information covering most industry products.?
The Road Show has extensive presentations, panel sessions and information areas not only covering London and the South but many National issues facing the Taxi & PHV Industry.
Topics include:
?Street closures and restrictions
?Air quality requirements
?DVLA & Medical difficulties
?Driver shortages
?Delays in licensing
?Driver agreements & worker’s rights
?Conditionality – a new requirement coming in for all taxi & PHV drivers from the Inland Revenue’s HMRC that will affect every operator, driver and licensing authority. HMRC are explaining how this will work
?Heathrow Airport’s set down & pick up charges (￡5) from 1st October
Transport for London Taxi & Private Hire will be giving updates on Future requirements for:

?English Language requirements
?Safeguarding & Disability Awareness
?The October 25 expanded ULEZ Rules
?The live Congestion Charge Consultation
?The worrying London boundary charges proposals (which if adopted will cause drivers to pay yet another fee)
A team of experts will take questions from the floor on all of the above, which will include LPHCA’s Senior Trade Representatives and Members UK-wide and many of the organisations mentioned above will be in our Information Zone where you can speak to them personally.
This is a free event that is open to all, whether you are a Licensed Operator, Driver, Regulatory / Enforcement Agency, Local Authority, LPHCA Member, Industry Product Supplier, or anyone else connected with the industry who wishes to attend.?
All pre-registered delegates receive free car parking, free hot & cold beverages throughout the Road Show, as well as a free lunch from the fantastic selection of food the hotel have to offer, which also includes Halal, Vegetarian and Vegan food options.?

Keeping everyone safe
This event will take place without any social distancing restrictions. We are however implementing some additional safety measures of our own, to make any attendees who may feel anxious about a return to events, feel safe and comfortable. These include the following:
? We have a new 'person-to-person contact-free' registration system. This means that attendees can scan, download and print their name badges at our registration station, without needing to have contact with any other person.
? We have replaced our traditional printed programmes with new digital event programmes accessible from your mobile phone. You can see our digital floor plan further below.
? Multiple hand sanitiser stations will be spread around the venue to keep everyone's hands clean.
? Any attendees who wish to wear a face-covering whilst at this event, will be able to do so with confidence.
? If you are able to, please complete a rapid lateral flow test prior to attending the event. You can order these for free?here

11:30 First industry presentation session featuring:
13:00 - 14:00 Complimentary buffet lunch, tea, coffee & refreshments – Networking session, visit the exhibitors and see the vehicles on display
14:30 Second industry presentation session featuring:
16:00 Main part of Road Show ends, and Post-event Social begins (in the main hall)

17:00 Complimentary evening buffet food served
19:30 Approximate end time of post-event social (Networking and socialising continues in the main hotel bar lasting into the late evening and beyond)
