2021, Let's Be Normal and Lots of Fun

Happy New Year 2021!!

新年あけましておめでとうございます。

My dear friends, as in my "Column writing" tradition, in the first post of this 2021, I wish you and loved ones a "normal", healthy and happy new year ahead!

??I guess, we don't need a "wonderful" year yet, we just need a "normal" new year... At least, as for me, I wish to be back in those normal times that I could book a ticket spontaneously, jump on a plane, be arriving at New York on the same day, and someone waiting for me at the airport.

2020 has turned everything into a Virtual Reality (VR). It's like a 3D game, where we locked ourselves in a room physically while imagining living a real global world.

??2020 is the Year for us to learn about Self Reflection - in a new way. Learn to "Selfie" our own "Sub-conscious" selves by our "Conscious" selves from the reflection of the mirror. So let's Dare to be "Naked" and Learn how to be "Authentic".

??2020 is the Year for us to learn about Appreciation - in a new way. Learn to appreciate "Basic" things, like the effort of farmers to grow food, like the effort of delivery men to deliver to our home on time, so we could protect our own Safety (not others' safety). Without the effort of those persons behind the scene, we will not be able to survive, or even be healthy to make money for our own. So let's Stop being "Bitchy" and Learn to be "Nice".

??Yesterday late afternoon, on the way back from the Post office (tried to postmarked something to U.S. on the last day of the year), I was wandering and watching the flow of people crossing up and down on both sides of the street. I happened to think about what I wrote in the new year three years ago - "Millions of people are crossing Grand Central everyday, but not all of them have luck to meet or get connected".

??Perhaps, the statistical probability of two molecules from two pieces of the earth crossing each other is one in millions...

I do feel fortunate to have chance meeting different kinds of people at different stages in my life.

...Some people stay.

....Some people go.

......Some people come back.

..Some new people come into our life....

??Perhaps, the science of Serendipity - "being fortunate by accident" does exist ..

Each people give us a chance to Learn, to Self Reflect and to Appreciate.

BUT, if we self reflect and appreciate but just sit there with No Action, then we should question ourselves - Do we enjoy our current version of our life? What or How we can change to make it better, more meaningful, more purposeful?!

??"Life is Short" - So let's Stop Complaining and Lets Do Something Meaningful for our Own Life - "whatever things close to our heart and we like to do" will do. Just do it ??

Last but not least, if the thing we like to do can create money and turn VND to JPY or JPY to USD or whatever rotation will make life even better..??????
