2021 GSPE Engineer Of The Year Nominations

Why YOU should nominate someone:

 YOU have admired something an engineer did! There was that redesign of the intersection you use or a technical explanation you know of an engineer who supported a particular cause. Prestigious accomplishments deserve a prestigious award.

YOU know of an engineer who deserves it! In your circle, you know a lot of folks and some engineers who impress you. A peer, a subordinate, a higher up in your organization, a neighbor, a friend, or someone who did something notable as an engineer.

It is a prestigious recognition YOU can bestow! You are uniquely qualified to make the nomination. YOU know the person, their accomplishments, and why they deserve it. YOU can do this. Anyone can submit a nomination. YOU can be a committee of one; membership in an organization is not required.

The recognition is good for your nominee. For the engineer, there is nothing like being recognized for their expertise and for what they do. Just being nominated is prestigious. It adds to their standing and influence among peers. It motivates to maintain high standards and achieve more.

The recognition is good for your nominees’ organization! It is good for organizations to have their people nominated and recognized. It shows the quality of the values of the organization.

Anyone can submit a nomination. The nominee must be a Georgia resident and except for the student awards, must be a registered professional engineer. GSPE membership is not required. The submission deadline is December 21.
