2021 Career Development Highlight

Happy New Year everyone!

As many of you are in the midst of 2022 personal and professional goal setting, I wanted to share one of my 2021 highlights that might be of interest to you.

For those of you looking for an innovative workshop that lands at the intersection of Diversity and Inclusion, Strategic Planning, and personality, I highly recommend the two-day virtual Cultivating Safe Spaces workshop facilitated by the incomparable Elaine Alec.?

Elaine deserves a shout out - she was the most impactful person I met last year.?From the Syilx and Secwepemc Nations in Southern British Columbia, Elaine is a successful self-published author, a co-founder and partner in a strategic planning consulting firm (Alderhill), and a gifted speaker.

As a life-long learner, I have spent countless hours in classes and workshops and I cannot recall the last time I left a two-day session feeling completely at peace, geeked about the content, and exhilarated with the connections between fellow participants – all at the same time.
