2020---The Year of Refocus

Interestingly, 2020 has become a year of Refocus. Sometimes it takes being forced to pause, change norms, and create new and effective means of functionality, to renew our focus.

Who would have predicted that we would be rallying for toilet paper, wearing masks and working more virtually because of a pandemic? None of this was on our radar screen.

While 2020 has presented its share of challenges, illnesses and in some cases loss, we refocus and move forward. Richard Rohr's book, "Failing Forward" mentions how in the midst of our challenges and failures we can choose to become better or become victims.

In this year of refocus, may all of us choose to Refocus, become better, and allow this experience to teach us, improve us and make us a little more empathetic for those around us.
