2020 resolution -run more, run further

Running is a no brainer when you are looking for sometnig to help you losing weight or just staying fit while travelling somewhat more than the regular office clerck. I got into this some years ago, and what really brought me to the next step has been team spirit.

At the time I would aim at running weekly, but barely did twice a month, and run out of power after 3 to 4km. Then came Sebastian who offered to run with me every thursday after work. The first time, we did 5km, and I did vomit my guts (sorry for the picture). My ego took the hint, and one moth later I had been running 8 times, and already increased to a regular 5km per session. I then invested in a watch aiming at monitoring my pulse.

From then on run regularly 10km, and even did a first half marathon 2 years ago. Did I just say regularly? Well last run before that entry was 3 months ago. Bad.

There fore here it is, 2020 is the year I will run my second half marathon. For this I will run regularly, and ideally not do it alone. I therefore set up a calendar of running events I have already registered, or intend to.

I call herewith anyone in my network who runs regularly, occasionally, or who simply is just looking for an opportunity to jump on the running train to simply join me here or there! You are likely to run in front of me, but eh, this is about the simple idea that going out of bed is just easier and more fun if you do it with others.
