2020: The One Where Anything Can Happen

I can not even believe that I am writing this but yesterday marks my second ever first day at Real Salt Lake.

A very short seven weeks ago, I chose to walk away from the Utah Jazz and from a career in sports. Lucid presented me with an offer that was full of opportunity and promise and they delivered on that promise. In fact, they met and exceeded every expectation that I had. They recently reached the billion dollar valuation. At the beginning of the month, they launched an amazingly visual and collaborative whiteboarding product called Lucidspark which you definitely should check out. Their leadership team LIVES by the mantra of "Teamwork Over Ego" and this attitude permeates the entire company, including the sales team. It it truly one of the most impressive and truly AWEsome things that I have seen in my ten professional years. They are an amazing company who is going places and I sincerely thank them for the opportunity. Shout out to Peter, McClain, Steve, Travis, Jackson, Mike, Nathan, Lindsey, Kurt, Ryan and others for being great teammates along the way.

Sometimes someone comes knocking on your door and you can not help but open it and let them in. I am excited to be back at Real Salt Lake and look forward to making a big difference with this Team and within the community.
