2020 News October India

So another month comes to an end and October 2020 has been a reasonably fine period in this regard from a broad perspective.

Sushant singh rajput and disha salian

Of course the sushant singh rajput and disha case is not progressing in the manner one would like to see ideally.

But then due to involvement of couple of politicians in this twin murder, one could hope for at least a worthwhile level of justice even if not a perfect one.

so the point is that everyone knows the name of the politician directly involved. and most people also know the names of the politicians indirectly involved. and that is the A grade category which might be untouchable.

maybe even they will pay a price. maybe not. only time will tell. but looking at one of the recent developments, current signals and another setback in today afternoon (which i prefer not to name) makes one sense that it would be silly to hope seeing the A grade variety being punished.

sometimes, for the overall political stability in the country or else due to pressure applied by a powerful personality, even the central government has no other choice but to adjust and reach the middle ground.

its very sad. but thats how it is all over the world. political compulsions.

on the other hand there is another set of culprits i.e. the B category which were engaged in the child trafficking, networking and drug smuggling business and were minting money but slowly started getting additional financing from the A grade category after the A variety noticing that the profit margin is humungous out there.

finally we find the C category which were and are involved in consumption of drugs and maybe even distribution in a very limited way, not for profit but selling to close friends making special requests. maybe that could be the case. not sure.

so under the circumstances it might make sense to target the B category only. reason being, if that variety is either imprisoned for life or completely bankrupted or penalized to extent they become fully insolvent then even that would be more than enough to bring justice to the two families of the murdered as well for an overall healing of the business atmosphere in the country.

it may not be the ideal kind of justice but still doable. however this doable task is also something which would require an insurmountable magnitude of activity. but when you can obtain the licence to produce nuclear power from usa then you can do this too.

jaswant singh did most of the work and manmohan singh completed it, somewhat an impossible feat to achieve and still they both were able to complete it.

before proceeding to category B let's touch upon the C variety. shahrukh khan. such a naughty fellow (but in a nice way). i love him owing to his personality. i cannot imagine him crossing the line ever.

maybe my view is biased. but there are some people who never cross a certain limit. his intellect, benevolence, kind heartedness and sophistication simply puts him on a different plain altogether.

he is just too smart and innocent too alongside to ever involve himself in a dirty business like this. he might be consuming drugs. i dont know. some say he is a casanova. i have no idea. but the fact is that it is his personal matter.

the only one deserving the title "king of bollywood" due to his boldness, classiness, good nature, a humble body language, way of talking, mannerism, maturity and aura which smells of royalty.

so if im proven wrong then i would be heartbroken because all im saying is based on intuition, judgement and sixth sense which is further based on watching him closely since the last few decades.

on the other hand only the authorities and the agencies know the truth and whoever is guilty as per their opinion or criteria and parameters should not be spared.

maybe they will go all out against the A and C variant too. i have no idea and it is up to the government and the courts and the agencies to derive upon a decision.

so thats fair - whatever the system declares eventually because after all we are currently being ruled by an honorable prime minister whose main strength is learning from experiences. he never stops learning.

its an immensely rare quality. or else in india, every tom dick and harry is out there to preach and lecture instead of listening to what the other is saying.

finally, personally speaking why i hope that the B category gets punished is because they have obviously 1. Ruined many lives in addition to 2. Bringing a bad name to my country all over the world apart from 3. Destroying the commercial culture in india. so its an act of decimation on 3 counts.

it is a no brainer that drugs and child trafficking demolish individuals and that too millions of families.

but when the commercial tradition inside a country perishes, then we are not talking about careers of a mere million or millions of people. livelihood of a billion people in a country like india is smashed in the process.

the rationale behind that is that we have become a country where the able fail and the networkers succeed. it all started due to the culture of pull initiated by the PSU's and has eventually spread widely to become the norm of the society including homes and in family matters.

its all over the world. but the intensity of this problem is very high in india. maybe the magnitude is even higher in north korea or whatever.

but then do you want to compare india with north korea or a righteous nation like switzerland or singapore or usa ? well even they are not ideal by any means. but then making excuses for own shortcomings by finding flaws inside their imperfect economic system is an act of a coward.

so at a personal level i would say it all boils to the tradition of contact-building which exists not only in bollywood but all over india.

and the worst part is that it cannot be called a "crime as in crime". but still in reality it is a felony because indirectly it ends-up shattering millions of careers.

in addition how can anyone prove such a misdeed carried out by the networkers and by whom ? they know how to access the corporates or else they are specialists in making sweet sales talk clever enough to bag a contract by partying. but by what barometer does one evaluate the magnitude of damage one creates in the society by such a pattern ?

i noticed a shocking question by some gentleman (i dont know who he is) during Arnab's show last month where one of the video conference participants complained about this trend of contact-building in bollywood. This well groomed and a so called intellectual type of guy in indian style designer clothes (short in height, perfectly combed hair and very slim in appearance) asked that person - " Do you think this tradition exists only in bollywood ? Its there all over india. So what's wrong about it ? "

it is impossible to track or penalize such people through a law. but the point im trying to make is that since the government now for the first time in history has an opportunity to identify the members of a group which have made it impossible to artists like sushant or executives like disha to make a living through ability rather than pull, hence it would be the biggest blunder to spare the players in the B bracket.

at least it will send the minimum possible message to an establishment buying a product or a service to have some civic sense and show some professional responsibility towards own country by discouraging service providers which suck up to them. this kind of business atmosphere exists primarily in the service based industry by the way.

rest is up to the authorities and the legal system. we are just common people and all we can do is beg for justice so that the capable stop immigrating to usa.

this public frustration arising due to the society of contact-building is one of the biggest reasons why the ones having the resources to migrate to usa are migrating.

Farooq Abdullah

an unbelievably shameless thing to say. and it is sad to see the congress party supporting him. a party which used to be so virtuous which selected a man like sardar patel as the prime minister (but turned down by mahatma gandhi) is supporting such a blatant thought ?

this is inexcusable on the part of farooq abdullah. making corruption money since 50 years and still hungry for more ? such an ugly intent.

it is not a matter of referring to china or pakistan or any other country. the fact is that we are one india and those three provinces are part of one state now and should be forced to follow the law of the land.

the ones engaging in public protests on the roads should be gunned down by the army.

Kerala airport, hawala raids and NIA raids

a beautiful decision by the courts to pave the way for the privatisation of the thiruvananthapuram airport. so are the remaining two actions by the government a huge positive for india.

Goa Tourism

there seems to be some sort of ambiguity here. im not sure. if the privatisation on this front is executed fully and whole-heartedly then its okay. otherwise we will pay for this later, in the form of an additional fiscal deficit.

stimulus package and employee bonus

both are unfortunate decisions but no one can do anything about it.

all i can say in short is that one creates stimulus by reducing government expenditure. but they think they are providing a stimulus by increasing spending through giving incentives to the industry.

so that was such a hilarious event to watch.

anyway - to close, broadly speaking another positive month for india and i wish them all the best for bihar which they might win single handedly.
