2020 is a new chance to the human being

It is incredible to observe the world in these days and notice that a lot of things and concepts are changing.

People are evolving the mindset and experiencing a different way of life. Big cities around the world introduced lockdown and they observed less people, few cars, buses etc on the streets. As a result, pollution levels have fallen during the last weeks, and now people can breathe a pure air with your protection masks…it is a little bit ironic, isn′t it?

Despite the coronavirus, the air pollution reduction is good news, though. The fossil fuel industry suffered a great impact and the petrol price hit numbers that have never been imagined in the history before.

Analyze the new scenario is very important to draw the future. We, as human beings, noticed that we don′t need a lot of things to live. We can do the same things with less stuff, spending less money, saving resources, reuse things and clothes and other objects.

It could be great if this “new knowledge” remained with us forever and governments and companies invest efforts in renewable energy, like wind farms or solar energy.

Solar and wind farms produce clean energy and they have low costs (investments) comparing with coal, nuclear, gas etc. Both use the environment to produce energy and preserve the nature. There are a lot of areas in many countries that can be used to build the wind and solar farms and help the Earth to recover health.

The renewable energy is the future…but this future is far away

The negative point of that is, neither the sun nor the wind produces energy consistently. The production during the summer is higher than the winter, when demand for electricity is at its peak.

Maybe the solution is integrating the resources and investing more money in renewal energy to give us more chances to help the planet and help the new generations.

Honestly, I would like to see a completely different world after this pandemic. A different human behavior related to everything: other people, environment, worries, helping people, investing money in relevant things, spending time with important things. More time doing good things and less time spending on the mobile screen.

It is a hope, and I really hope that the world (society) change the previous priorities to this new normal. I hope so.
