Happy New Year and thank you to all our valued Clients
It is January 7th, 2020, the start of a new decade. I am having difficulty organizing my thoughts on what exactly happened this past 10 years, so I decided to focus on 2019. Is 2019 really over? Already? Wow!
2019 was a particularly busy year at MicroAge and I want to share some of our more prominent initiatives and accomplishments beyond growth, revenue objectives and the awards.
Our major focus in 2019 was cybersecurity. So much so that it has become embedded in our culture and our corporate strategy. We have made significant investments in fortifying our infrastructure and strengthening our internal processes so we can better protect access to the systems that host our data, and that of our Clients. Today, our operations are fully redundant, and proactively monitored by a third-party organization that provides Security Information and Event Management services. It is our belief that demonstrating corporate governance is a major differentiator amongst Managed Service Providers.
We continue to make progress on the service delivery front by further leveraging the automation features within our systems and through the addition of passionate, talented individuals to our team. This has allowed the members of our technical team to focus on what really counts: The Client relationship. The team was able to increase the number of Client touch points and engaged in conversations and exchanges while neither party’s hair is on fire. These initiatives allow us to gain a better understanding of our Client’s business and enables our team to deliver greater value through relevant contribution.
MicroAge is committed to providing our Clients with managed information technologies that assist them in achieving their desired business objectives. This dedication combined with our portfolio and expertise allowed us to gain over 70 new Clients in 2019. Armed with confidence and the trust of our Clients, we will continue to grow in the community we serve, without ever compromising our integrity.
Speaking of community, it is important to find the time and the resources to help the organizations that assist the people that are in need. I am extremely proud of the “giving back” initiatives brought forth by our staff and our Social Committee. In 2019, the MicroAge team donated over $50,000 to various charitable organizations within our community and we’re hoping to do more this year.
Best wishes for a happy, healthy, prosperous and safe 2020.
