2019 summary and 2020 aspirations.
Taking things differently after graduating in 2019. Four days late in penning down my reflections and aligning myself for what is to come in 2020, but better late than never. Here are some pointers that shaped my 2019 and my 2020 aspirations.
- Health is wealth. In the later months of 2019, I had a close friend who is only 25, admitted and warded in the hospital for a good three weeks with a terminal bacterial infection. He is out of hospital now, but illnesses still plague him. This taught me to keep my health in check while pursuing business goals.
- Seize every opportunity. 2019 was the year of opportunities for me. People came knocking on the door after the hard work in 2018 was put in. Be it for work done in the Triathlon Association of Singapore, for business or modelling. I took every single one of them and it propelled me even further in life. This has led to many new doors opening for me and different avenues to explore further.
- Sucess in teamwork. I was blessed to have met good teammates and partners with similar goals and dreams. Leveraging on each others' expertise to ensure work is done in a professional manner to improve business performances while bootstrapping the business. This resulted in Breakaway having the highest ROI and being the fastest growing brand in the sport of triathlon within Southeast Asia.
In 2020, apart from driving business goals, I would want everyone reading this to be safe and healthy. But most importantly, to see the strength within to achieve what you want to achieve this year.
P.s. Giving a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and given me the opportunities to make me a better person in 2019. Here's to a better 2020!
