The 2019 Epic ACG Fest has come to a Successful Conclusion
The annual international anime/comic/game festival, the Epic ACG Fest, wrapped up on October 27th in Silicon Valley, California. A total of 50 projects from more than 15countries worldwide participated in the selection and exhibition of this global event. Among all the participants, the outstanding works received the finalist and award certificate in the award ceremony on the night of 27th. Anime characters and fans from all over the world gather together to celebrate this must-see festival.
As a unique professional activity that designed and processed strictly in the industrial standard with the level of Hollywood film festival, Epic ACG Fest has been trying to be different and creative from the common market form of ordinary anime con or game festival, and pays more attention to the exploration and encouragement of new blood in the anime/comic/game industry while designing the whole program. By offering this precious opportunity, to allow more animation, comic and game people can show their talent through this platform, and meet the professionals in the industry to exchange ideas
Combined with the perfect time point of the annual Halloween, the Cosplay part of the Epic ACG Fest is also particularly wonderful, so that the cosplay fans' Halloween costumes will receive another opportunity to show.
On the night of the awards ceremony, the red carpet was crowded with filmmakers, animators, stars and fans. In addition to Silicon Valley's local anime fans, professionals and participants, cultural groups and entertainers from the east coast and Hollywood came to support the event
As a rising star in the modeling and hosting world, Xuan Zhang had taken care of the temporary absence of her hosting partner due to the wildfire, and perfectly completed the hosting of the award ceremony. Hollywood actor and model Arion J, Epic ACG Fest judge Kaul Pontau and sponsor Cheryl Stroke presented the awards.
Between awards presenting, the local performance groups Rainbow Bridge Performing Arts School, The Silicon Valley Women Group, New Star Youth Foundation brought a wonderful performance
Grand Jury Prize-Feature was Harvie & The Magic Museum (Russia), and Grand Jury Prize-Short was Tragic Magic by local animator Geoffrey Clark. The Last Fiction from Iran won The Best Feature Animation prize.
With the gala wrapped up, the 2019 Epic ACG has completed another starry night.
