WOW...just when you start to get ready for the 2nd half of the year then WINTER SEASON starts!

This year will mark another first for Tokay as we will be flooring the very first winterguard to be out there is some time. This guard will be taking its first steps into the activity and will be using the expertise of an award winning seasoned guard director, a young experienced teacher/instructor with numerous 1st place and sweepstakes to her name & a young choreographer with lots of dance experience in various genres. This experienced team is going to tackle the challenge of making the guard something that will encourage others to become a part of.

The winter drum line will consist of 23 members and using a full percussion sound palette as well as electronics, (two keyboards & a guitar and bass as well). I am looking forward to creating a full lush score that will showcase their collective talents & abilities. These members have grown a lot in one year.

Next up...CCGC Percussion evals at James Logan HS in Union City on January 27th.
