2018 in review & goals for 2019
Anthony Robbins once told us that “Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.”, and at Mater Dynamics we could not agree more. We will start this new year by recalling 2018 throughout our achievements and disappointments, while leaving you with our goals for 2019.
The good, the bad and the ugly of 2018
2018 was marked by a deep focus in finding new ways to improve our production capacity and monetizing our current product QStamp (qstamp.io). We looked into new ways to simplify our production and make it compliant with standard machinery. By making our fabrication process compliant with common production techniques, we decrease our dependence over third parties. As a main gain, we could reduce the variance across different batches. In the tech side of our business, we unlock QStamp’s potential for a new frequency, making it compliant with NFC protocols that you find in your smartphone. This feature was strongly request by our clients, and for sure you will see novel uses of our technology targeting consumers as end-users. Last but not least, we took the year to define our internationalization strategy. As baby steps, we participated in one accelerator for advanced materials and three trade shows in relevant geographic markets.
2019 will be Year 0 for international growth
In 2019, we will put a lot of effort to spread out that Mater Dynamics is pushing itself towards new markets. For this, you will notice that we will reinforce our relationship with our clients, partners and enthusiasts, throughout meaningful social media and joint projects. Mater Dynamics will abandon the idea that is only a smart packaging company, and it will assume that it is a technology provider, which technology can be used by others to create outstanding products. We will initiate training courses with our technology, showing its benefits and how you can easily retrofit or design your products with QStamp-based technology. Finally, we will become more sustainable, targeting our internal objective of being a 100% green/ environmentally friendly nanotech SME.
These are some of our goals, and we are excited with the potential outcomes. Have a great 2019 with Mater Dynamics.
