2018: a good year for commercial UAVs ahead.

2018: a good year for commercial UAVs ahead.

May I wish a particularly Happy New Year to everyone involved in the exciting aerospace industry. 2018 promises to be a good year for us all: the world is ready and hungry for game-changing electric and UAV technologies.

That does not necessarily mean that the markets will move any faster than we have always predicted. At Neva we continue to keep a keen eye on our roadmap and the delivery of our realistic promises, based on proven and safe technologies. Neva ideas are well received by informed commentators, and our modular Eole turbo-drones proved to be stable in flight and safe for operators when shown to a demanding delegation from the French Army. You can view part of that October 2017 demonstration HERE.

Naturally our work on future applications of our proven technology continues and we were invited to present our emergency services concepts to a global audience at the Frankfurt Motor Show. See our presentation HERE.

2017 was an important year for us commercially, as we developed a structure for the sales, assembly and shipping of the turbine and turbo-drone products we have developed. To that end we are strengthening our R&D partnership at Angers University in France and establishing a dedicated OEM turbine sales subsidiary for the European market.

We were also pleased to welcome two new distributors to the Neva team. Welcome Bob Schmidt of UAV PropulsionTechnologies in the USA and Dr Kohei Ando of Carciel in Japan.

Successful field tests and the positive reception we had from visitors to key events like the Paris Air Show have boosted enthusiasm at Neva to an all-time high. We are still on the right road with powerful drones that are safe to use in close proximity to people and physical assets.
