2017 Year End Reflections
2017 is nearing its end! I know it’s been a difficult and challenging year for many, including myself but as a forward moving person, I’m choosing to focus on the positive as the year come to a close. I refuse to look back at 2017 as a negative year overall. Betrayals and disappointments sometimes happen to us but we won’t let that put a damper on the memories. It was a challenging year in many ways but also such a good year in many ways.
I never like to end the year focusing on the negatives because no matter what has gone on throughout the year, life’s a blessing and I choose to celebrate it.
So many good things have happened this year to make me smile.
New Business Platform
We are in the process of changing our business model to a platform that allow us to put our customer’s needs first. Our customers will enjoy access to a wide range of solutions from us as well as other trusted partners to meet their insurance, investment and retirement needs. I am blessed to have a team of loyal, competent and sincere Financial Planners and Mangers who have chosen to follow me. So what more can I ask for?
Simei Care Centre
This Christmas season, colleagues and friends of DNA Financial give the gift of heartfelt, undivided attention to members of Simei Care Centre by our sharing, songs, foods, engaging in playing games and distribution of gifts. We will never forget those moments of love we share with them.
Finish Strong
The words “finish strong” have become a driving force in my life. I have personally embraced the finish strong mind-set for achieving excellence in life, both in my business and my Christian faith. And when faced with a challenge or adversity, I remind myself to make the right choice to finish strong.
I believe our attitude plays a very vital part. Do I always get the result I want? The answer is “No” but I know that I have tried my best and there is a sense of satisfaction that I have given all I have.
Live With No Regrets.
Know that nobody who ever gave his or her best in their calling will regret it. Continue striving, pushing, working and trying until you get what you want in your life. Do not let anything or anyone hold you back. And learn to enjoy the journey.
The world is full of so many people who start things, but then for whatever reason, get distracted, discouraged, or quit. Starting is important, but finishing is powerful and the true game changer. May we all step up and finish strong in our current season, and be able to say the same words Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.
