2017: Warm Fall, Cold Winter. It’s Still Climate Change.

The years 2013 to 2017 are likely to be the hottest five-year period on record. While the Paris climate agreement set a goal of limiting warming to, ideally, 1.5 C, the United Nations says the world is on track for a 3-degree temperature rise by 2100. Will the upcoming, predicted colder-than-usual winter make us complacent about a dangerously warming world?
