2017 Pernix & BE&K Building Group "Charlie Award" Recipient

I was recently presented with the 2017 Charlie Award.  It is with great humility and appreciation that I accept this company award for "going above and beyond the call of duty."  

The Charlie Award is done annually, where Sr. Management nominates employees for going above and beyond, for providing consistent and extreme customer service…ultimately for making Raving Fans. The customer isn’t just our Client; it is co-workers, vendors, suppliers, or subcontractors, our partners and their respective employees. It is based upon the book “Raving Fans” and the main character “Charlie.”  It is someone that performs extra duties outside their normal scope, supports other departments when we're short staffed, volunteers to work on special projects/assignments, develops new work methods that improve efficiency, provides service to others that are beyond their assigned responsibilities, perform their normally assigned responsibilities at an exceptional level, exemplify the company culture of performance excellence, innovation, respect, or customer service, foster admiration among their colleagues, model high performance standards, are a good leader, inspire others to contribute constructively, proactively identify and resolve challenges, etc.  The winner of the Charlie Award gets a vacation for two compliments of Pernix!

Walking into 2018 upright and with gratitude I am hopeful and working toward additional achievements to come this year; and this award will be used as a motivational springboard toward exuding a greater effort to further transform the trajectory of my career.  Thank you to those in upper management, my management chain, and those that I work with on a daily basis to drive production at the jobsite.  Without our camaraderie, it would not be possible to do the things that I do. #Humbled
