2017 IIN Conference + Community Foodworks for Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches

Spring is my favorite time of year, and not just because my birthday comes soon after Equinox!
Even though I now live in Paradise, where the seasons are simply varying degrees of hot, very hot and humid, still hot, and gets cooler in the evening, I can still observe the seasons changing by the behaviors of birds and plant life as well as my own internal changes.
This past winter I used the hibernating aspect of the season to focus on self-care, getting the recommended annual health check-ups for my age range, slowing all the way down to give my time and energy to what I really wanted to say yes to, making sure to move my body, and laying the groundwork for new friendships, collaborations, and projects.
I'm happy to announce the launch of my newest program specifically for students and graduates of Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I continue to gain so much value from my training and staying connected to the school as an alumni and Graduate Ambassador, and I'm always looking for new ways to talk about my training and its impact on my life and business.
Even though I've always led with my Health Coach title, its connection to my work in local food advocacy and community food development hasn't always been clear, so I wanted to create a supplemental program that also mentors health coaches to integrate the good food movement (community supported agriculture, urban farming, agritourism, farm to table, eating seasonally, community gardening, etc) into their health coaching practice.
Through Community Foodworks for Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches, new students will receive complementary access to my six-month program when they enroll through my referral as a Graduate Ambassador. In addition to speaking with prospective students about the IIN experience, Graduate Ambassadors can extend special tuition savings to them (ask me how!). Health is more than what we eat and how much exercise we get. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, even though food and physical activity is important, much of my coaching focuses on the influences ALL of our choices have on our health and how we feel in our bodies.
Each year, Institute for Integrative Nutrition hosts a conference just for students and graduates, and you're invited!
During this 2-day event on Saturday, March 25th and Sunday, March 26th, you can livestream the conference and listen to the latest wellness and lifestyle news from Dr. Andrew Weill, Chris Guillebeau, IIN founder Joshua Rosenthal and others!
You'll also hear what a few of IIN's successful graduates are up to.
