In the age we live in our imagination seems to actually be able to come to life because of modern science & technology. This is great from an entertainment perspective, but what it has also done is to blur the line between fact and fiction. Fantasy or now referred to as “virtual reality” is a powerful tool that can bring about an amazing mind-stimulating experience. Of course the devil loves using that tool as well, only to our demise. What this ultimately leads to is for many to view the “Holy Bible” as just a collection of old fictional stories instead of being the actual inspired words of God.
Science claims more and more to have things all figured out or at least enough of it to know that there is no God, the creator of all things. It is our nature to seek out our own answers, come to our own conclusions, but unfortunately that is all heavily influenced by our sinful desires. So when you combine what science is teaching and the virtual reality we are being visually bombarded with God just becomes another comic super hero that cannot even compete with the virtual high-tech ones of today.
But God is real and there are world renowned & respected people supporting that fact, but few want to accept that viewpoint and allow it to be taught, at least as one possibility, in our public schools. As a result we are moving farther and farther away from God and more importantly, the love and compassion of His Son Jesus Christ. It is only in Him that we can be filled with a feeling of completeness and in the promise that He will never abandon us. The knowing that no matter what we have done we can approach God and be renewed, restored, and set on a new course in our lives that will bring us home to Him in Heaven for all eternity.
It is critical that we remain grounded in the Lord for He is the rock that never moves and never changes. The one that loves us so much that some 2016 years ago sent us His Son to bring a taste of Heaven to us on earth. A reminder that His word in the Scriptures is indeed the truth and is even more real than the very ground we walk on.
Through kindness we can bring others a little taste of what God’s love and grace are like. In Jesus our sins have already been hauled away at no cost to us, but did come at the ultimate cost of His pain, suffering and death on a cross. In His resurrection from the tomb we can rejoice that as long as we remain in Him we too will have eternal life with the Father in Heaven. Share that love & kindness with everyone around you. It is fun, easy and something we should willingly want to do to show our love and thankfulness to God. Ideas and sharing cards free, sign up at https://acts18.org/christian-kindness
