In Turner & Townsend's 70th year a team of thirteen employees, including me, have agreed to take part in this year’s East Midland's office Summer Challenge. The "Peak2Peak" challenge will incorporate a walk up and down the tallest mountain in Wales - Mount Snowdon (circa 7 miles), cycling from the base of Snowdon to the peaks of Derbyshire (135 miles) followed by a further walk up to the highest point in Derbyshire, Kinder Scout, and then back down (another 5 miles). This fundraising challenge is being completed in support of the Nottingham office’s charity of the year, the Nottingham CYF Project.
The team are aiming to complete this ambitious challenge within three days starting on Friday 1 July finishing on Sunday 3 July. Thank you to those who have agreed to take part!
Please see below a link to the new JustGiving page. This is linked to our charity of the year, the Nottingham CYF Project. Please feel free to support us on our little challenge by clicking on the page below and giving generously. We will keep you posted on progress as we go.... Thanks.
