In 2016 I quit a job selling digital marketing making $263K per year.

When I started the job I had ZERO sales experience.

The first time that I ever picked up the phone to cold call it nearly slipped out of my palms because they were so sweaty.

In 1 year I went from having (literally) no sales experience to becoming the top earning salesperson out of hundreds.

What isn't told in that triumphant statement are all of the times that I got hung up on, doors that were slammed in my face, cursed out over the phone.

But, like I said, I quit that job days before I was supposed to fly out for a company retreat.

I couldn't stand deceiving one more business owner, selling them a digital marketing product that just didn't work.

I had a major moral conflict.

My mom panicked. My girlfriend panicked.

"You're stepping away from a huge opportunity."

"But you've got great benefits & great pay."

"I think you should create a plan before you just quit."

Regardless, no plan & all, I made the leap.

I had no idea what was in-store for me, or the amazing opportunity to come. I just knew that I couldn't keep morally selling a service that didn't work.

The months and years after that are almost a blur. I've been on a joy-ride rollercoaster of emotions building the SMB Team.

Everything from passion to confusion to frustration to joy.

In just a few years, I've created a company that sells a product that I wholeheartedly believe in.

One that HELPS small business owners market their companies and increase revenue by getting their businesses seen in a noisy online world.

I've built a team of compassionate, caring & dedicated digital marketers that have a "do whatever it takes mentality."

People who are willing to go above and beyond for the clients whom we serve.

Individuals that stay until midnight to get the job done, and come back again the next morning at the crack of dawn.
