H&M Plating Company, Inc. grows in the slowing economy.

 We are excited to announce the acquisition of Mirror Industries and R&M Energy Systems.

With a very conservative mind set, ownership at H&M Plating did not go out and spend money carelessly over the last 7 year oil boom. Instead, they came up with a game plan to expand the company by increasing capacity to our already extensive grinding and honing machinery capabilities.

With a vision to service all industries, management came up with a plan that will make H&M Plating Company one of the largest chrome plating and HVOF facilities in North America. 

 Since our acquisition of Mirror Industries, it has given H & M Plating Company access to 20’ chrome plating tanks along with several additional chrome plating tanks for use on various sized parts. For years, we have been limited in our length capacity. This merger, gives us the ability to take on smaller parts in larger quantities and will allow us to start doing chrome rotors and longer hydraulic and/or pump shafts.

 In addition to the Mirror Industries acquisition, H&M Plating has purchased the assets of R&M Energy Systems. In doing so, this increases the depth capacity of our chrome plating department. By installing eight additional chrome plating tanks with the capacity of 30’ deep, this gives us the ability to chrome plate rods and rotors up to 50’. Our goal is to have the new expansion in our chrome plating department up and running by year end.

 We are very excited to be able to expand our capabilities in a slowed economy. Times are tough, but if you are smart with your money and play your cards right, you can come out ahead.
