Windows 10 & its features

Microsoft has surprised all of us this time and has launched windows 10 instead of 9.It is considered as the best windows operating system so far. Following are the main features:

• Start menu- The start menu is back again.
• Virtual desktop – Now users can choose one among many available desktops according to their convenience. This facility is available in the enterprise edition.
• Task view- All new task view button can be seen in windows 10.It can be opened by Alt tab.This is provided to improve multitasking.
• Universal Apps – New universal apps has been added to this operating system. It supports old apps as well.
• Continuum-This is the most exciting feature of windows 10. This is for two in one devices of Microsoft. Operating system changes the mode of the device when the keyboard is removed.
• Snap- This feature has been provided in Windows 10. With this, windows can be tiled horizontally and vertically.
• Charm bar – The search bar appearing in windows 8 is removed from windows 10. A new feature will be added instead.
• Easy shut down – It is a small yet very powerful and useful option. Windows will go into shut down mode when ALT+F4 will be pressed.

It will live to our expectations if it is user friendly and has a universal appeal. This can be the fresh start of Windows or it can be a failure like windows 8. Time will testify how market takes this new operating system
