Is there a country more beautiful or are there people more kind than the Burmese?? Is there anything more aw-inspiring than a top quality ruby?? Well Myanmar (Formerly known as Burma) is blessed with over 85% of the world's top quality rubies and as such is a 2nd home for me! It is one of my favorite countries to visit and my Family is honored to have the Burmese people as dear friends for many decades. It's not easy to buy gemstones at mines... a lot of stress! But I always make time to unwind and in this case spend time with young Buddhist monks.
