What does ESA do?

As you can see from our logo, we are a Staffing and Screening services firm.

What does that mean?

It means that companies and organizations of every size hire us to help them find people that have the necessary background and experiences to perform duties that they need performed.

An easy to way for us to explain what we do is to use the five words listed below, that describe individual aspects of what we do. Typically when we use these words, we are describing our Staffing Services.

However, we un-bundle and share all aspects of our Staffing Services as stand-alone entities. This is most assuredly the case with our Screening Services. Every screening tool that we utilize in Staffing Services can be sold individually or in a package that is customized for your needs.

Most of our clients utilize our Staffing Services because our processes are so thorough. Plus, it is productive to get to know a possible employee within the Staffing Services arrangement. Especially when ESA is utilizing the Quality Assurance and Onboarding principles, described in more detail below.

Recruit – We recruit people 24/7 from our website, Social Media, Newsprint and radio. But, we have also cultivated many other recruiting sources over the years. We can find people with the skills you want. Our brochure lists our current office and geographic region, but our recruiting efforts go beyond the delineated area.

Screen – Every applicant that walks into our door, or fills in an online application, will be processed as far as they can go into our E8 process. People that we will hire for you, a bank or financial services institute, will successfully complete The E8 + Banking and Financial Services process that you will find below.

The E8 + Banking and Financial Services Process

  1. The Telephone Pre-Screen
  2. Pre-Application Questionnaire
  3. Comprehensive Application Packet / Legal Handbook
  4. An Initial Screening Interview
  5. Professional references are verified

If the candidate’s work history, references and self-responses to other pertinent questions appear in order, we move to the second next level.

  1. Residential Search / Social Security Number Trace
  2. Omni Search – searches for Felonies and for Sexual Crimes, Interpol, etc

If those two searches are clean and reveal consistency with the candidate’s responses we then would want you and your team to Interview the candidate to make sure the candidate has the appropriate knowledge, skills, abilities and other attributes needed for the project or job.

Please note that the results of these screens (in most cases) will be available at the time of the Client Company Skills and Behavior Interview

  1. County Criminal Background Search
  2. Employment-related Credit History Report
  3. Motor Vehicle Report (actually an important report)
  4. A Workers Compensation Claims History Report
  5. A nine (plus) panel laboratory drug screen
  6. The FDIC Search
  7. The Excluded Parties List Service (EPLS)
  8. We also have a Paper and Pencil and extensive online testing.

Select – From the information we have accumulated from reports and interviews---from the E8 + Banking and Financial Services process, we are then able to make an informed Selection Decision.

However, ESA does NOT stop at Select:

Onboard – When we talk about Onboarding, we do not mean that we are making New Hires fill in an I-9 Form and make sure they understand the dress code, hours of work, and what happens if they don’t exhibit expected decorum. Although, we will most certainly perform or assist performing those functions.

But we mean much more with Onboarding. In fact, our Onboarding program is one-half Quality Assurance and one-half Acclimation (Onboarding).

To be succinct, the scientific research performed in myriad workplaces over the past one hundred years suggests that employees that can be rated high in the following areas at the end of around ninety days, are typically higher quality performers for the respective organization.

  1. Role Clarity. The employee understands what is expected of him/her from their department and company. The employee fully understands their job.
  2. Self Efficacy. The employee believes in his / her ability to perform their job over all, but also individual tasks.
  3. Social Acceptance. The employee’s peers accept them as a part of the team. They have been correctly trained, they have been given the opportunity to earn work respect with co-workers, etc.
  4. Knowledge of Corporate Culture. The employee has a general sense of how things work around your company. She knows the policies, he knows the proper ways to go about getting a new ink pen or an auto-reimbursement.

We will accomplish our Onboarding / Quality Assurance Process with you and your team’s assistance through personal visits, telephone calls and email messages. We are going to talk to you and / or your team the first day someone is there, and every week thereafter. Plan. Execute. Follow up.

Our staff is trained with modern Quality Assurance and scientific Onboarding principles and will be asking standard questions, along with situational questions, on a weekly basis to you and / or your team about each employee. In addition, we will be consulting with the employee during the employee’s time on our payroll. Asking him / her canned and situational questions. Whether that be 90 days or 9 years. We constantly seek and help provide Role Clarity, Self Efficacy, Social Acceptance and Knowledge of Corporate Culture to our employees working through ESA’s Staffing Services at your site.

We bring an adaptive standardization that not only keeps you legal, but allows everyone to experience a common, friendly and thorough process.

As a minimum, every person that we Select and send to your company is Screened and Evaluated by a process that we call The Essential Eight (E8). But we don't stop at Select!
