MORNING MUSIC INSIGHT :

As most of you know I receive lots of music from aspiring musicians and bands. They are wanting to make an impression on me so that I may champion their music project and possibly help in securing a recording contract.

Often what happens- ten songs or more are submitted, but there is only one established hit. The reason? There is no cohesiveness culminating the flow of the recordings that develops the sound of the band.

FACT: The reason why so many bands don’t succeed is because they have not discovered a sound, which compliments their efforts that pleases the buying public. Today’s Precept: Discover your sound, work on it, and OWN IT!

Examples: Ac/ Dc Since they began in the 1970s they have had a copious amount of hits on each album because of this theory. (2) Tina Turner; has kept the same High-energy style since her beginnings. She has made fame and fortune off of remaking other artist material by changing those compositions into her sound.
