10 Ways This One Sentence Will Change Your Life

When considering your future, do you often ask yourself, "What do I want?" or "What will I get out of this?" I have seen it and experienced it often enough to know that the answer is yes. The problem with this is that serving ourselves doesn't actually get us to and beyond our goals. In a business transaction, nobody says, "heck yea I will buy that, after all, it will really improve your life!" People will buy a product or service from you because of what you can bring into their lives. And people will buy from them because what they can bring into other's lives. This finds its way into every aspect of life. Those, whose actions are made solely with the purpose of self gain, will have short term if any gain at all.

I often suggest to my client's, friends, and family that when they express a lack of passion or self, to get out and serve people. Whether it be at a shelter, and animal rescue, working with children, teaching the youth, or comforting the lonely...get out of your own head! I tell them to wake up in the morning and ask yourself, "Who am I going to be a blessing to today?" Right from the jump, this starts your day off on the right thought process.

Who are you going to serve today? What special gift about you will brighten somebody's day? Who gave you blessings today? Who brightened your day?

This one sentence will change your life. It has changed mine! It will change your thought process, strengthen your ability to empathize with others, and lead you straight to your passion!

"How may I Serve YOU?"

That one sentence is why I became a Coach. I make a living from serving other's! I found myself in a position of happiness and joy, because I serve others. My life changed for the better, because I changed others lives for the better. Being there for other's has always been part of my life. I am truly a natural coach. But incorporating "How may I serve you" has enabled me to make a living by serving others!

When your purpose in life is to serve others, that will bleed into both your personal and professional lives. Imagine how much more effective you will be with others when they trust that your actions will always be for the best for everybody involved. Imagine how much more effective leaders would be if they chose to be servant leaders. Imagine how your bottom line will increase from the "giver's gain" that will be occurring. When you make a living from serving others, you will have lasting and joyful results.

I encourage all of you to incorporate "How may I serve you" into your daily lives. There are 10 Ways that I found this one sentence to be life changing:

• Allow you to share your unique gift with others

• Increase your ability to truly empathize with others

• Alter your relationships (personal & professional) for the better

• Open your heart up and allow other people to serve you as well

• You are choosing to live a positive life and sharing it

• Daily, you are holding yourself accountable to be the change

• Create a level of expectancy from all those around you

• Remove yourself from your head and focus on the needs of many others

• The more love you show, the more you will receive

• It is the right thing to do and doing the right thing will forever change your life!
