Car Warz the saga so far.

Hello all!!

IS EVERYONE READY FOR MORE CAR WARZ!?!?!?!?!?!

Hopefully everyone had a great September?!!/? And you are all off to a great start now.

I have been negligent with keeping everyone up to date.

I know it has been a few weeks since I threw out any information on how I've done with letting the customer choose!

And can you believe..........................................................................

We sold our highest grossing 3 days ever. Fast forward one week, we did just over 1 third of our average monthly sales in 5 days. And then the following week we did it again!!!!

"What is this guy talking about?" I am sure most of you are thinking that I have lost it. But, for any of you that have read my previous post (rants) you have some idea of where this is going.

To catch everyone up, I decided to be the ANTI-CAR GUY! Yes, you read that right! I let the customer test drive what they want. Pick the payments they want, the term and the price.

Don't close the screen now you've read this far!

It has been an epic few weeks. I am now surrounded by happy customers, happy sales staff and most importantly a happy me!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't worried about any goals, numbers or spins.

Oh, one more thing................ I took the cars to the customers.

In my change of how I was doing things I've kept the biggest secret till the end. For six weeks now I have taken the cars from the dealerships to the customers. Big tents balloons, popcorn, pizza, soda, Gatorade and all the prizes to give away.

And what has this done for me???????

Its made me and everyone around me happy!!! It has made us money! We are thriving with out any brick and mortar storefront. I have switched between inside of trade zones with new and outside of trade zones with pre-owed. This has worked so well that I am now planning on going right through the winter. (Side note: I am located in upstate NY) We are pushing our best months ever.

Hey John That makes a lot of sense. I'm a big believer that good energy equals big money. When you cater to the the customer they will pay more willingly. I am working now in setting up a delivery system for people to buy cars online and get them delivered to them. Feels good to see it working for you.I believe it's the future of car sales. John, Have you changed anything with regards to your online strategy as well? If so what did you do previously? What do you credit your meteoric uptick in sales to primarily? Are you getting many more referrals from customers that have experienced this "new way"? How are you presenting numbers differently, if at all? What would you say that your new mission statement is? Or if you had a theme song for this new march, what is it? Great work, John. Brian Snow
