Is OR friendlier than AND?

Here is a nice conclusion, gathering data from answers of a question I posted on Quora:

Take the words themselves, from an etymological point of view, and take a look at the pictures below. There is no straight answer for this question. The words are still relative but the comparison is great.

Logical disjunction = OR
Logical conjunction = AND

Again:

Logical disjunction = a DIS logical link
Logical conjunction = a CON logical link

And again:

Logical disjunction = a separated logical link
Logical conjunction = a united logical link

The semantics go on the link:

OR is a loose link, while AND is a tight link.

AND is friendlier for a couple [of two lovers], indeed, but not darling, not when the world ends with you AND me. These two words are paradoxical words, this is why humans are confused all the time. I am confused as well about them. The question did an awesome thing to bring them one against the other.

Here is the question I started on Quora I mentioned before.

Here is the blog of the free project, for which I started the question. The project will benefit from this question, for the fact that links have indeed proprieties, links are not just links.

Interesting perspective. When I see and vs. or, I just think legally to consider what elements they are linking are included or excluded.
