Using the language your audience wants

To all the so-called SEO gurus out there – stop thinking that if you accommodate the search engines with loads of keywords, you will go up in rankings.
It simply does not work that way.
So what does work?
The real SEO gurus are those who appreciate the power of good content.
They know that the more attractive and useful the content is for their audience, the more the interest grows, and the more sales would come.
Now before you go running creating good content – I have an important message for you:
THIS WILL NOT WORK IMMEDIATELY
Like anything else, it will take time until your good content will be recognised by Google and rank higher. We are talking of a long-term strategy here – where you will reap a lot of rewards, if you have the guts to be patient.
What about the keywords? Should I not include them as much as possible in my main text?
Sure…
As long as you do not put the flow of your content in jeopardy, it is important to include your main keywords in your text.
But once again, if we come to the question of who should be accommodated first – search engines or our audience? The answer for me is clear: our audience.

10 年I agree very clearly: Customer first, first, first - and then maybe as number 4 priority SEO (still being important). By the way: "Customer first" also means to produce well structured content, since you do not do this for Mr. Google, but for your current and future clients to inform them in order to satisfy their needs.

10 年'SEO gurus' will rank your page even without great content, one can use semantically related phrases to the ones you are targeting, as there are hundreds of ranking factors and the most important are off-site SEO factors. I just checked KSi website, you guys are not ranking for Malta company formation. I assume you are targeting that phrase, as you have those words included in your home page title.

10 年Luca Caruana , when it comes to content I agree it should be crafted for users in a way which would 'make' users acheive your goal/conversion BUT content on its own will never get high ranking in Google, especially if you are targeting high demanding & competitive phrases (example: Malta company formation)...so, even if you have a great content, you still HAVE TO HAVE backlinks to your web page using anchor text for which you want to rank otherwise high ranking is wishful thinking!
