It never ceases to amaze me how some "professionals" choose to behave
Take a look at the attached link. This stunt could have, and actually may have, caused some serious harm to the person in this video.

I watch this and couldn't believe an employee would tape themselves doing something like this with a company vehicle. I then realized the gentleman in this video is actually the owner of Pink's Carpet Cleaning - Troy Meacham. I cannot fathom how anyone, not to mention the owner of a carpet cleaning company, would even consider doing something like this. What sort of example is he setting for his employees? Would you want your employees doing something like this?
If one of my employees pulled something like this, it certainly would have been their last day.
I sure hope Troy realized how stupid his stunt was and sought emergency medical treatment.
My opinion - what say you?

10 年The video has now been removed from YouTube - I appreciate your comments. I usually do not pay any attention to stupid videos on YouTube but when I saw this one, I just couldn't resist sharing it. I agree with Ken - videos like this make us all look bad in one way or another. Would any of you hire these guys to clean your carpet, mitigate a water loss...anything at all? My answer is an obvious "NO".

10 年I think you are missing the point, Jacob. Our industry struggles with being perceived as nothing more than glorified janitors that are not smart enough to do anything else. Videos like this reinforce such beliefs. It frustrates those of us who seek to raise our industry's credibility and reputation when there are those who intentionally behave in a fashion that calls their common sense and intelligence into question. This isn't about Troy. It's about our industry. That's why I'm offended. I'm offended on behalf of our industry who suffers a reduced public respect as a result.
Seems like a rouse. I think, based on his reply on facebook and his joking comments about Farrah Abraham that it's a joke guys... Let's get over it and move on... Gross.. Funny... Looks like mud water not carpet juice to me... Anyone notice no suds?

10 年That was thoroughly disgusting! Forget OSHA...notify public health for providing a pathway for fecal-borne illness to infect a neighborhood!

10 年The intention was good, a little silliness .... So long as no one got hurt. It's sort of ok
