Data “re-entry” is one of the most costly mistakes that smart business people make. At this point we are all firm believers in the idea that time is money, so why would you spend time manually entering information into any system? Sales people have known this for a long time and the result is that your CRM has MINIMAL information needed for the sales process. We blame this problem on laziness but this is truly a manifestation of the “time is money” mantra. Why enter a business card into the CRM that I already have at my fingertips?
