It is quite surprising how so many people will stick to one idea or plan as if it is extremely certain it will work out. Most people have so much programmed themselves to only think in one direction as if it is inevitable: "I will get my first degree and will get a Job" or more precisely " I will get a job at an oil company or a bank".
We all have to wake-up and shake off fantasies and get into the realm of realities, even if you are so much qualified, not everybody will get their dream jobs. But then do you have a plan to fall back to or you want to wait till it all happens. Optimism is a virtue but you have to be wise and know when you are being realistic.
Have you even discovered your passion/purpose or you still think you have no special interest, well you better start digging because you have, you only haven't discovered it. If you know your passion then start building yourself in that direction and start making plans and implement as soon as possible, you don't necessarily have to wait.
The best time to implement a plan is when you have something to fall back to, when all is not at stake, then you will be more confident to take risks. So why not start before you will absolutely need it, start when you can still afford to make mistakes. The first few trials might just be lessons for you, just be determined never to give up. Put you plan B in place today, don't let it all lean on your academics it is not as promising as it used to be. Do something today
