"People Quit When They Are Not Having Fun"

I was abstractedly listening to my daughter's animated characters / cartoons while I was doing the washing . . .
The particular animation on screen was "Sofia The First". (Believe me, people who have kids will be familiar with this much loved, Disney Junior series).
To back up on my story a bit. . . I had this particular week, been considering whether it was maybe a wise idea to leave my current job and seek a new environment.
I had the good sense (thank you my meditation sessions) to step back, as a third person, and objectively look at my situation.
I went back to the day I started at the Company. What was it that had kept me there up until now? Why had things suddenly changed? Why was I so miserable ALL the time?
Listening to "Sofia The First" was what gave me the answer! "People quit when they are not having fun" Princess Sofia said.
And there it was! What I had lost.... was the FUN! How simple and uncomplicated, and TRULY important!
I'm not going to elaborate on my point here. . . those of you who are ready, will understand. And those of you who are not, no worries, you will eventually get there! (with all due respect of course!).
So my point is. . . if you have an environment of people you enjoy having in your employ, don't forget to be mindful of how much fun is also being had!
Seeing a dive in Sales Figures? Poor attendance? General negative, draining office mood?
Ask yourself: "When was the last time the whole company played for a bit?"
