How odesk(freelancing platform) changed my life?

So to start with , Odesk fulfilled my dream of making money online. Which makes me to do lot of things on my own. The first job i did for 2$ really changed a lot thing in my life. It boosted up my confidence in a massive way. It also impacted my parents and made them feel happy about me.

After Earning 27$ I did my first payout , Looking for whether i will get the money or odesk will be another one of scams. But successfully after a week, I got paid in bank. When i took that money and showed to my parents(they are not well educated) were amazed. Their only word is “You did a good job!”. The time i wasted with my PC and internet giving back something. Yes, I spend almost above 6 hours with my pc just for random stuffs like blogging, learning, researching.

These things made a huge difference and helped me out well with my odesk career. People looked for what i already know? The issues i faced with my blog, the issues i faced with design. Which make me feel superior and made my job simple.

Once the job done. Getting feedback from client is the biggest acheivement for me. All people love appreciation, I am just one among them. Sometimes i just go to my profile page and read clients feedback. Make myself motivated for while that i am really capable of something.

I have spend day and night in odesk for simple jobs which is Not much dollars paying. But it gave me some self satisfication. I can help people in their jobs. I can make some people happy. I can make some people trust my talents. Without my odesk career. I never would have got this much confidence about myself.

Even though It took time and hard work i felt happy. Whenever I feel low about things i do in college time. I got feel of “Why should i do this? When my friends are not, just spending their time on other things to enjoy”. But that time money motivated me. Because i am in need of money that time , I dont want to stressmy parents for money. I wanted to help them. So i just belived , I can do better than anybody wasting their time in every day.

Yes it really worked for me? I was able to earn decent income about 1000-5000 from odesk only for the works i did in freetime. I was able to take care of my expense instead of depending upon my parents. I learnt everything in real time and self studies, so i saved some money by not going some random stupid courses (I had an idea of going).

After my college ends when everyone was been afraid of placements and getting into company, I was not Because i got a backup of odesk and also am confident that i can get a job easily when i compared my skill sets among my classmates. The only thing i got lagged is in my studies. But before even end of the college i got a job in a company. Which is fully due to my profile presence of odesk ,that i had attached with my resume.

I have not even stressed much for full-time job. A easy full-time job lead by my odesk profile. Is that somewhat cool right. Odesk gave me a platform to live on my own and face things. Give a confidence that i can be my own boss. I can do lot of things. It made me feel great.
