Elena Lelchuk is a Marketing & Public Relations Manager at Commodore Builders and the Chair of the SMPS Boston Communications Committee. The following are her picks for July's Favorite Five roundup!

1. "Repetition: Making prospects remember your key messages" by Joe Latta

With the recent redesign efforts of marketing materials at Commodore, I have been especially focused on carrying out a consistent message, from imagery to color scheme, on all of our channels including website, social media, proposals, giveaways and so on. 2. 5 Tips for an Effective Trade Show Booth

Tradeshow season is upon us! I'm sure everyone can read up on these tips on how to stand out on a cluttered floor of a convention center.

3. "Marketing the Moon: How NASA Sold Space to Earth" by Michelle Legro

"Communication of the work is as important as the work itself.." Brain Pickings is my new favorite go-to website! Check out this interesting piece on how the Public Affairs Office strategically controlled the consistency of information to the media to ensure accuracy of the first space travel reports.

4. "Compelling People: The Hidden Qualities That Make Us Influential" by John Neffinger and Matthew Kohut

Not so much a blog post as a book recommendation...but I read about this book on the aforementioned site, Brain Pickings, and couldn't help but add it to my Amazon shopping cart.
