Have you Mooed today? Check out these bugs in MS Windows!
The Windows XP is long gone. Support is discontinued after August the 8th and we are looking forward to new Windows 9 who should reclaim the glory of its older brothers and prove that Windows 8 was just a coincidence.
Let me remind you of some funny moments we had with Windows. Here are some bugs or Easter Eggs as they are called, you probably already heard about, that marked the existence of Windows from XP till now:
#1 Try to create a folder named CON and you will see the following thing happening:
#2 Let’s do some basic math’s together. What is the square root of four? It’s two, isn't it? And what do you get if you subtract two from two? Zero, right?
Now let’s do the above calculation using the Windows calculator. Type in 4, take the square root and from the result subtract 2. What do you get now?
So that’s why they did not want us to use calculators in school!
#3 Notepad Bug (Our bellowed XP Only). This bug is corrected with Windows Vista and above. If you still use XP give it a try.
Lunch the Notepad and type just the text, with no quotes: Bush hid the facts
Now save the file as anything you like, close it and open it again. What do you see?
#4 Microsoft Word Trick
Open Microsoft Word and type the following: =rand (5,10)
Just click Enter.
Word creates 5 paragraphs, each containing 10 identical sentences. The sentence will vary, depending on the primary language of your operating system.
Please post a comment if you know of any more Easter Egg.
