Help me donate my beard to charity!

My name is Richard Bagdonas. I am the founder of Operation Turkey - a non-profit that feeds and clothes the homeless and less fortunate at Thanksgiving.

This is the 15th year of Operation Turkey!

To celebrate this monumental year, I am donating my beard to Operation Turkey. I have had this beard for many years. It is special to me, but like all good things, they must be given a chance to help others.

My beard was concerned when I explained this to him. It went something like this.

Me: "Hi beard! How is your year going?"

Beard: "Hi Richard! It is going well."

Me: "What have you done to help other this year besides make people smile as they see you?"

Beard: "Nothing really. Why do you ask?"

Me: "How would you like to help 7,500 people eat Thanksgiving?"

Beard: "I would love that. How can I help?"

Me: "I would like to donate you to Operation Turkey in honor of our 15th year and raise $1,000 for each year we have been feeding people."

Beard: "Can't we donate the dog?"

Me: "No."

Beard: "What about if we get a cat and donate the cat?"

Me: "No."

Beard: "Can I at least be removed on television?"

Me: "Yes!"

Beard: "I'm in!!!!"

Please help Operation Turkey by helping me raise $15,000 for my beard. All of the money raised will go right to the fine folks at Operation Turkey and you will be able to see pics and video of me without a beard.

Thank you for your help (and please don't tell my wife about this)!

Richard, I wish your beard Godspeed. Not Godseed, which I almost typed by mistake...that would be awkward.
