Really interesting study, the move to transparency doesn't surprise me, and something I would support all my clients to do. The lower rating of sustainability to drive buying decisions did surprise me, but with a global study and many countries still digging out of recession price may be a greater priority for customers. Also the perception is sustainability allows a price premium, rather than looking at sustainability to lower costs.
This study shows the moves and changes in sustainability and it is great to see how marketing can support businesses in the move to sustainability.
