Greetings!

This week, we're excited to welcome a whole host of new readers enjoying their first Sunday Paper.

Just to recap, since the dawn of 2014, every week The LZSundayPaper exposes and recirculates news about, and very frequently by, women in business, media, and culture. The "culture" part comes in many forms. Ours specializes in high and low, though sometimes we meet in the middle. Our audience for this content is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect at least one good laugh.

For the uninitiated or maybe even for those veterans who thought this was a pretty random-yet-interesting list of stuff, take note: the clips progress in a roughly standard progression: from general business news, through digital & entrepreneurship, on to media, arts & entertainment, usually a dash of sports, literature, and on to the fun-est stuff.

Part of why we have many new readers has to do with a great article about The Sunday Paper in
The LA Times last week. Then, this week, I was excited to have some fun work-news to report, too. So now if I report interesting Sunday Paper type news on Refinery29 or any of the other companies I'm involved with, would that be a situation for the whole "full disclosure" type of thing? I may need to go to journalism school or, at the very least, re-watch "All The President's Men" or perhaps go see "Newsies" before it closes in August.

For any of my loyal readers who have been inquiring re travel: trips are winding down. Summer progresses and the last of planned business/domestic journeying will likely end with the classic Dallas, TX/Portland, ME sojourn.
After that, I anticipate staying put.

In a somewhat related alert: If I had to choose anything other than being a "City" person, I would have to say
I am a "beach" person, as opposed to "mountain," "plains," "lake," "pond," "valley," "hill," "tarmac," or any other geographical attribute. So potentially, this is where I will be, post TX/ME.

Which is counterintuitive to me also being an anti-dirt, dust, grime, grit, sand, and soot, person. Another alert: NYC + beach + open windows account for all of the above. So I guess that's why I am also a "Dustbuster" person. Full disclosure: I do not advise or consult for the DustBuster Corporation though I think Black&Decker is a fine company.

New folks: hopefully you are pleased by your missive. If so, send us interesting stuff you think we may have missed, and tell people you think will enjoy it to sign up at [email protected].

Not yet a slave to social media, but inching towards slavishness, The LZSP has a new Twitter Handle. Follow it/me/us

Enjoy!
